evening.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect from mid morning through mid

humidity recovery tonight.

Strong northwest winds are expected on Saturday, strongest over
northwest South Dakota where gusts to 55 mph are expected.
Critical fire weather conditions will persist through Saturday.

...Red Flag Warning through Saturday Evening for Central and
Western Wyoming...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions are expected Friday afternoon
and evening through the overnight hours due to gusty westerly
wind and low minimum relative humidity values.

Strong west wind, especially between 9 PM and 6 AM, will blow
along the crest and east slopes of the Absaroka and Wind River
Ranges. Mountain wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph are possible across
the highest elevations. Nearby valley and foothill locations are
likely to see 40 to 50 mph wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A cold front early Saturday morning will turn winds to the north
and northwest. These winds persist into Saturday afternoon. As a
result, critical fire weather conditions continue before improving
around sunset Saturday evening.

conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.

north central South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for this afternoon due to ongoing
dry fuels, wind gusts of 30 to 45 mph, and relative humidity as low
as 20 to 30 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Near critical to critical fire conditions expected Saturday as wind
gusts of 40 to 60 mph are forecasted along with relative humidity
values as low as 15 to 25 percent.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
