...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following
  counties, Kent and Stonewall.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 804 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Aspermont, Lake Alan Henry, Peacock, Swenson and Old Glory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...Haskell County in west central Texas...
  Throckmorton County in west central Texas...

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 739 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 3
    inches of rain have fallen with another 1 inch likely through mid
    morning.
  - This additional rain will result in minor flooding of city
    streets, low water crossings, and other flood prone locations.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Haskell, Stamford, Throckmorton, Rule, Rochester, Woodson,
    Weinert, O`Brien, Irby, Lake Stamford Marina, Paint Creek,
    Elbert, Sagerton, Lusk, and Jud.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Loop Road crossing Paint Creek, County Road 274 crossing Brushy
    Creek, crossings along County Road 247, County Road 279 crossing
    North Paint Creek, lake crossing Kings Creek, crossings along
    County Road 374, crossings along County Road 376, crossings along
    County Road 334 and Hill crossing.
