...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Oklahoma, including
  the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc. In
  southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Bryan, Coal, Hughes, Johnston and
  Marshall.

* WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1040 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen
    in parts of the area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Durant, Atoka, Tishomingo, Coalgate, Colbert, Caddo, Allen,
    Bokchito, Achille, Stonewall, Wapanucka, Stringtown, Dustin,
    Lehigh, Bennington, Silo, Tupelo, Milburn, Tushka and Calvin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

  county, Clay.

* WHEN...Until 115 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 818 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bellevue, Newport, Vashti, Joy and Shannon.
