This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Heat and humidity continue into this evening with heat indices of
100 to 110. Thunderstorm risks increase after 6 PM this evening.
Scattered strong to severe storms are possible, with the primary
risks being hail to the size of ping-pong balls and wind gusts of
70 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A risk of periodic severe storms and heavy rainfall remain possible
for the upcoming week. Details are uncertain at this time so continue
to check the latest forecast for the most up to date information.

morning.

Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast at intervals through
the beginning of this week. Severe weather and heavy rainfall are
possible, especially on Monday, with gusty winds and hail being
the main concerns. Flash flooding and local river rises may occur
due to heavy rainfall.

Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Monday

A few strong to severe storms are possible in northeast Nebraska
this evening into the early morning hours Monday. Damaging winds
and large hail will be the primary hazards.

Rain and thunderstorms are likely on Monday evening along a
stalled front. Some severe weather is possible as is heavy rain
and localized flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday night through Sunday

The front will linger in the area for much of the upcoming
workweek, leading to repeated showers and storms. Flooding and
severe weather are possible.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

The extreme heat warning has expired, but temperatures will fall
slowly and heat index values above 90 are still expected for much
of tonight. So heat recovery will be slow tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected to develop in
western Minnesota tonight and slowly spread eastward. A few
storms may be severe. The main hazards are large hail and
damaging winds, but a tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Scattered thunderstorms can be expected Monday afternoon, mainly
in southern and eastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin. A few
storms may be severe.

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are likely starting
Tuesday and continuing through most of the week. There is
potential for heavy rain and flooding where thunderstorms train
over the same areas. The threat is highest from southern and
eastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A heat advisory is in effect into this evening across central and
north central Nebraska, where heat index values in excess of 100
degrees will continue.

There is a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon
and evening across much of western and north central Nebraska. The
primary threats will be large hail and damaging wind gusts, though a
tornado cannot be ruled out for areas east of Highway 83 and west of
Highway 61.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Near-daily thunderstorm chances are expected through Thursday
morning. There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms Monday
for areas along and south of Interstate 80. On Tuesday, there is a
Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms across the Panhandle, with a
Marginal Risk across the rest of the region. Beyond Tuesday, the
severe weather risk remains uncertain.

There is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms
Tuesday afternoon and evening, meaning that isolated severe
storms are possible. Primary hazards include large hail and

central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorm potential will increase this evening/tonight, with a
Slight risk (level 2 of 5) posted for much of the area. Large hail in
excess of 2 inches in diameter is possible across parts of northeast
South Dakota into west central Minnesota. Wind gusts in excess of 60
mph are also possible. There is an isolated tornado potential (2-5%
within 25 miles of a point) across northeast South Dakota and west
central Minnesota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms return to the forecast Tuesday into Tuesday night, with
a Marginal risk (level 1 of 5) for severe storms across southern
South Dakota, including the I-90 corridor across Lyman/Jones
counties.
