This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Scattered thunderstorms will continue in north and central
Georgia through 9 PM this evening. Slow moving storms could
produce heavy rainfall and localized flooding in northeast
Georgia. Isolated downburst winds near 40 mph and frequent
lightning will also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue during the
afternoon and evening hours through Sunday. Storm coverage should
be greatest between Friday and Sunday. Widespread severe weather
or flooding are not expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

Localized flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible mainly in
southwest North Carolina.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.
