* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central New Mexico, including the
  following county, Sierra.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 950 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Poverty Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of western Texas, including the following
  county, El Paso.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 924 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 inches is expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    East El Paso, Central El Paso, Far East El Paso and Mission
    Valley.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central New Mexico, including
  the following counties, in central New Mexico, southwestern
  Socorro. In west central New Mexico, southeastern Catron.

* WHEN...Until 1245 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 940 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen
    north of Poverty Creek.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dusty.

  - At 852 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen
    south of Old Horse Springs and across the Buck Fire burn
    scar.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Beaverhead.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 841 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of
    rain has fallen between Pietown and Old Horse Springs.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Old Horse Springs.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly or mountainous terrain there are numerous low water
crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.

  following county, southwestern Catron.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 756 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
    arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches
    of rain have fallen in the Gila National Forest east of U.S.
    Highway 180.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Reserve, Mogollon and San Francisco Plaza.
