...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DEL
NORTE AND NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT COUNTIES UNTIL 7 PM PDT...

At 614 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms 9 miles southeast of Orleans, moving west at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Orleans and Weitchpec.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Siskiyou County through 715 PM PDT...

At 650 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of Nordheimer Campground, or 20 miles east of Orleans,
moving west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Siskiyou County.

         possible.
