PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...North Skunk River near Sigourney.

* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects agricultural land, some
  county roads, and farm houses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.2 feet early Monday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until late Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flood Stage. Water affects agricultural
  land along the river. Water is several feet deep in places.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river is currently falling but will
    begin rising again Sunday morning.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 16.2 feet early Wednesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water begins approaching several county
  roads. Agricultural land near the river is flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river continues to slowly rise.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.2
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

  Lafayette County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters cover a portion of Highway H
  and floodwaters are into McKellar Park in Blanchardville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:00 PM CDT Saturday was 11.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 5.7 feet
    Saturday, July 19.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.1 feet on 05/18/2019.
