...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM CST
THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MUCH OF
EASTERN INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

* AFFECTED AREA...Antelope, Pierce, Boone, Madison, Stanton,
  Platte, Colfax, Butler, Seward, Lancaster, Saline, Jefferson,
  Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee, and Richardson Counties.

* TIMING...From noon today to 8 PM CST this evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
