...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

Dry conditions and breezy winds will lead to near critical fire
weather conditions Saturday afternoon in north central Minnesota.
Southwest to west winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 25 to 35 mph
are forecast Saturday. Minimum relative humidity values of 25 to
35 percent are also expected Saturday afternoon and early evening.
Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of
fires.

Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.

Dry and unseasonably warm conditions, combined with south winds
gusting to 35 mph will lead to near critical fire weather conditions
across northern Wisconsin today.

Please exercise caution with any activities that involve outdoor
fires or create sparks, including campfires, grilling, and
operating large equipment. Cigarettes should be disposed of and

...A COLD FRONT PASSING ACROSS MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON WILL
RESULT IN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS...

South-southwest winds will shift to the west-northwest behind a
cold front moving across Minnesota this afternoon. West-northwest
winds gusting to between 25 and 35 mph with afternoon humidities
falling to between 25 and 35 percent will result in elevated fire
weather conditions across much of central and southern Minnesota.

Check with the Department of Natural Resources and your county for
an local burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
