Strong east to southeast winds will develop today. Small Craft
Advisories are in effect today and Gale Warnings are in effect
tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Strong winds will continue Wednesday into Wednesday evening. Gale
Warnings are in effect.
Thunderstorm chances return to western Lake Superior Wednesday.
Some of these cells may produce small hail.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A winter storm will bring moderate to heavy amounts of
accumulating snow and some mixed precipitation starting late this
afternoon and evening. Mainly snow is expected in northeast
Minnesota with snow mixing with sleet, freezing rain, and rain
later tonight. The snow will be heavy at times tonight with up to
one inch of snow per hour possible. Gusty winds may lead to
blowing snow and low visibility at times. Winter Storm Warnings
and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Moderate to heavy snow will continue through Wednesday, mixing
with sleet, freezing rain, and rain in east-central Minnesota and
northwest Wisconsin. The heaviest precipitation will fall through
early afternoon, then gradually taper off Wednesday night and
early Thursday morning. Total snow accumulations from 4 to 10
inches in northeast Minnesota with locally higher amounts to
around a foot. Lake-enhanced snow along the North Shore will bring
totals up to around 15 inches. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter
Weather Advisories are in effect.
Thunderstorm chances return to the Northland Wednesday. Northwest
WI may see some small hail embedded with these storms.

A band of heavy snow will move across Minnesota and western
Wisconsin this afternoon and evening. Snow will continue through
much of the night across central Minnesota, with a mix of sleet
and freezing rain possible late tonight as well. The highest snow
totals of 5 to 7 inches are expected over central Minnesota, where
snow is expected to the last the longest. See winter weather

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

A wintry mix of precipitation is likely this evening through
Wednesday morning. A widespread 1 to 4 inches of snow is
anticipated, with a few hundredths of an inch of ice accumulation
possible in central to north-central Wisconsin. A Winter Weather
Advisory has been issued for areas north and west of the Fox
Valley.

There is a chance of thunderstorms late Wednesday morning through
Wednesday afternoon. A few strong storms capable of producing
hail and gusty winds are possible, mainly in central and east-
central Wisconsin.

Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

A system moving into the UP late tonight will bring a wintry mix
and moderate snowfall to the Keweenaw Peninsula and south-
central UP. For the south-central, wintry precipitation will be
falling on areas recently affected by Ice Storm conditions, which
could cause additional power outages and road closures. For more

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
A wintry mix including freezing rain and moderate snowfall will
continue to impact the Keweenaw Peninsula and south-central UP
Wednesday. For the south-central, wintry precipitation will be
falling on areas recently affected by Ice Storm conditions, which
could cause additional power outages and road closures. For more
information, see the Winter Weather Advisories.
Waves of up to 14 feet near the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula and
to 7 to 8 feet along the eastern shores Menominee and Delta
counties and the Garden Peninsula respectively could cause minor
lakeshore flooding and beach erosion.
