This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong southerly winds and building waves will continue today
with dangerous conditions for small craft. Small Craft Advisories
are in effect for most into late evening with a Gale Warning
starting mid- morning from Grand Marais to Grand Portage.

Winds will veer to westerly behind a cold front tonight and
increase. Gale Warnings go into effect for all areas Saturday
night and continue into Sunday evening.

A few thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Strong westerly winds will continue Sunday and a Gale Warning is
in effect into Sunday evening.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong southerly winds will occur today, which will lead to near
critical fire weather conditions for portions of the Northland.
The strong southerly winds will veer to west or northwest tonight
and remain strong.

A few thunderstorms will develop this afternoon into the evening,
mainly over northwest Wisconsin and far northeast Minnesota. A
severe thunderstorm or two will be possible late afternoon into
the early evening hours in parts of northwest Wisconsin, including
most of Price and Iron Counties and southeast Ashland County. Hail
to the size of quarters and damaging wind to 60 mph are the main
threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Strong west to northwest winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph Sunday
could lead to near- critical fire weather conditions across the
Northland, meaning that any fires that start could spread rapidly.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed for parts of northwest Wisconsin
this afternoon and early evening.

wildfire conditions across Upper Michigan today. Any fires that
start could spread rapidly.

A few stronger thunderstorms with dime-sized hail and gusty winds to
50 mph are possible late this evening over south central Upper
Michigan.

Strong west to northwest wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible
along the Lake Superior shoreline.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

The passage of a cold front today will result in elevated to
critical fire weather conditions across central and southern
Minnesota this afternoon. Critical fire weather conditions are
expected across west central Minnesota, where a Red Flag Warning
is in effect. Elevated fire weather conditions are expected to
develop as far east as the I-35 corridor through the afternoon
after the cold frontal passage.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected Sunday as northwest
winds gust to 30 mph with afternoon humidities falling to between
25 and 35 percent.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Recent dry conditions, dry vegetation, and south winds gusting to
35 mph will lead to elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon
and evening. There is also potential for powerline fires due to
the gusty winds.

A few strong to severe storms could produce damaging winds and
small hail between 8 pm and midnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Areas of frost will be possible, mainly north of Highway 29,
during the early morning hours from Monday through Thursday.

Low afternoon relative humidity and dry conditions will be
favorable for elevated fire weather conditions during the early
to middle of next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will like not be needed today, but spotters are
urged to report any wind gusts in excess of 40 mph and small hail
to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
