This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...
Patchy dense fog is possible tonight in north and central Georgia.
If fog develops, travel impacts are possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...
A more active weather pattern will kick in on Friday and linger
through the middle of next week. At this time the potential exists
for strong to severe thunderstorms Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Damaging wind gusts are the main concern all three days.
Northwest Georgia has the greatest severe risk on Friday, with a
peak in activity expected between 5 PM Friday and 1 AM Saturday.
The severe threat may expand to the rest of north and central
Georgia Saturday and Sunday.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
