...Fire Weather Concerns Exist Across Vermont and Northern New
York Tomorrow...
A combination of dry and windy conditions will create fire weather
concerns tomorrow afternoon. Fine fuels remain very dry according
to the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation and
the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Low
relative humidity values of 25-35 percent and gusty southwest
winds of 20-35 mph are also expected. If any fires were to start,
the weather and fuel conditions could cause them to quickly get
out of control and be difficult to contain.
For more information about the current fire danger rating, any burn
restrictions, and wildfire prevention and education, please visit
your state forestry or environmental protection website.
