...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM EDT
FOR BRYAN, BULLOCH, CANDLER, EFFINGHAM, EVANS, JENKINS, LIBERTY,
SCREVEN AND TATTNALL COUNTIES...

At 1149 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Stilson to 6 miles west of Portal, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported. At 1147 PM, emergency
         management officials reported trees down across portions
         of Bulloch County.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
         to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Statesboro, Portal, Brooklet, Springfield, Guyton, Metter,
  Claxton, Hagan, Pembroke and Lanier.

This includes I-16 between mile markers 96 and 149.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms have produced damaging winds and are capable
of producing large hail.

Report damage directly to the Charleston National Weather Service at
888-383-2024 when it is safe to do so.

* At 1130 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Louisville to near Magruder to Four Points,
  moving southwest at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Swainsboro, Sandersville, Louisville, Wrightsville, Wadley,
  Davisboro, Twin City, Tennille, Stillmore, Harrison, Oak Park,
  Bartow, Oconee, Garfield, Summertown, Nunez, Riddleville, Kite,
  Covena, and Modoc.
