...Fire Weather Concerns Exist Across southern Vermont
Wednesday...

A combination of dry and windy conditions will create fire weather
concerns Wednesday afternoon. Fine fuels remain very dry
according to the Vermont Department of Forests. Low relative
humidity values of 30 to 35 percent and gusty southwest winds of
20 to 30 mph are also expected. If any fires were to start, the
weather and fuel conditions could cause them to quickly get out of
control and be difficult to contain.

For more information about the current fire danger rating, any burn
restrictions, and wildfire prevention and education, please visit
your state forestry or environmental protection website.
