North Dakota, northwest North Dakota, south central North Dakota,
and southeast North Dakota.

A High Wind Warning is in effect today through this evening. See

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Snow is expected Saturday into early Sunday. Heavy snow is
possible which could impact travel, mainly along and south of
Interstate 94.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North
Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong low pressure will track thru the area this afternoonand
evening. A band of snow will occur, heaviest just north of the low
track. Locally 4 to 8 inch snowfall near the Minnesota and
Manitoba border.

Gusty winds of at least 50 mph will impact the area Thursday
evening into early Friday morning. There is a 50 percent chance
for blizzard conditions, especially the northern Red River Valley
and parts of northwest Minnesota.

Wind gusts to 60 mph possible late this afternoon and tonight.
Chance for light snow tonight.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Another system moves through the Northern Plains this weekend,
bringing accumulating snow to areas near the South Dakota border.
At this time, there is a 30 percent chance for Advisory impacts
for far southeast North Dakota and parts of west central
Minnesota.

The Grassland Fire Danger on the western South Dakota plains will
be very high to extreme outside of snow cover this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Looking ahead to the weekend, accumulating snowfall may develop
Saturday and Sunday, with the best chances for the Black Hills
and western South Dakota. Blowing snow across the western South
Dakota plains may hinder travel.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota and
north central South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Central/North Central South
Dakota today due to mild temperatures and low humidity. A front
coming through this afternoon will also cause winds to shift and
increase. Winds of 55 to 65 mph with gusts up around 75 mph for our
more wind prone areas. Winds will stay up this evening and diminish
on Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A winter storm looks likely for this weekend. Potential exists for 6+
inches of snowfall in some areas. Winds out of the northeast at 30 to
40 mph will cause blowing and drifting issues. More details to come.

northeast South Dakota.

The Fire Danger is expected to be high to very high for today with
mild and dry air moving into the area, along with a front that will
cause a wind shift and result in strong wind gusts late this
afternoon and evening. Winds will top out at 50 to 65 mph. Winds will
stay up most of the night.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A winter storm looks likely for this weekend. Potential exists for 6+
