the midweek period. Spotters are encouraged to report significant

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Up to a quick few inches of snow may fall with a clipper system
passing through on Wednesday, heaviest in the morning through early
afternoon and at higher terrain locations where rain takes longer to
mix in. This may cause slick roadways. Then on Thursday, scattered
snow squalls will be possible. Monitor the forecast for updates.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western New York.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A band of lake effect snow will likely produce a few inches of
accumulation northeast of Lake Erie across the Niagara Frontier late
Tuesday afternoon and evening.

A general snow will then bring some additional minor accumulations
late Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. Temperatures will warm
above freezing and allow rain to mix in during the day Wednesday,
before temperatures fall again with additional minor snow
accumulations Wednesday night.

through Thursday night, with moderate accumulations possible in the
most persistent bands.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Snow will develop late Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday
night. The snow may mix with rain for awhile Wednesday as
temperatures warm above freezing. Moderate snow accumulations are
possible across higher terrain.

Additional lake effect snow is expected late Wednesday night through
Thursday night, with additional moderate snow accumulations possible,
especially across higher terrain.
