tonight, which may result in locally heavy rainfall. Localized poor
drainage flooding will be possible.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Localized heavy rain and flooding from training showers and
thunderstorms are possible, especially later tonight. Over 2
inches of rain could fall in some locations, mainly to the
east of a line from York to Lebanon and Pottsville.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is an elevated to significant heat risk Sunday through
Wednesday with the heat index forecast to approach or exceed 100
degrees during the afternoon.

There is a chance for non-severe thunderstorms across parts of the
area for late today into tonight. Any shower or thunderstorm tonight
will be capable of producing heavy downpours, which could lead to
ponding of water in urban or low lying areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is a chance for thunderstorms on Saturday, as well as Monday
through Wednesday.

Heat index values may reach or exceed 95 degrees Sunday through
Tuesday in valley areas.
