...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Charles City affecting Floyd County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cedar River at Charles City.

* WHEN...Until this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Leland Avenue and Park Drive at 19th Avenue
  begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
    at 4:15 AM CDT Saturday was 16.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
    this morning and continue falling to 3.9 feet Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Lowland agricultural areas begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
    tonight to a crest of 14.2 feet Saturday morning. It will then
    fall below flood stage by Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

  Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 91.0 feet, Water affects Big Woods Rd south of
  Dunkerton Rd as well as the north parking lot of Island Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 87.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 91.0 feet early Sunday afternoon.
    It will then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.
