Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 3 AM tonight for
Nelson and Augusta Counties, as well as the Central and Northern
Virginia Blue Ridge. Snow and sleet accumulations up to 1 inch are
possible. Ice accumulations around a glaze to a few hundredths of
an inch. This could result in travel disruptions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through noon Sunday
for Nelson and Augusta Counties, as well as the Central and
Northern Virginia Blue Ridge. This could result in travel
disruptions.
There is a Slight winter storm threat due to a possible mix of
snow and freezing rain Tuesday morning, mainly along and west of
the Blue Ridge and Catoctins. If the threat materializes, there
may be travel disruptions.
