.Periods of moderate to heavy rain will fall across the Ketchikan
area through early Saturday evening as an Atmospheric River remains
focused on the southern panhandle.

...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Near Ketchikan.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Possible isolated landslides in areas of
  steep terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - As of 947 AM AKDT, emergency management reported heavy rain
    in Ketchikan with minor flooding ongoing Friday evening.
    - Between 4 and 7 inches of rain have fallen in the last 36
    hours.
    - Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches are possible
    through Saturday Evening.
    - Locally heavy showers are resulting in isolated rain rates
    of 0.25 and 0.5 inches, with higher elevations seeing larger
    amounts.

  - Wind gusts up to 35 mph Saturday.
