White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon River-
Upper Chena River Valley-Chatanika River Valley-
Including Livengood, Circle Hot Springs, Eagle Summit,
Twelvemile Summit, The Steese Highway from MP 85 to MP 124,
The Elliott Highway from MP 32 to MP 134,
The Dalton Highway from MP 0 to MP 38, Chena Hot Springs,
Chena Hot Springs Road east of MP 34, Haystack,
The Elliott Highway from MP 1 to MP 32,
and The Steese Highway from MP 12 to MP 85

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM AKDT
THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Blowing Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3
  inches through the end of the day. Winds gusting up to 35 mph
  this evening may result in patchy blowing and drifting snow
  along high terrain including Eagle Summit.

* WHERE...White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon
  River, Upper Chena River Valley and Chatanika River Valley.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Visibility may be
  reduced to a half mile or less at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional snow showers through the end of
  the day. Warmer temperatures, with highs in the 40s are expected
  Thursday through Sunday, but nighttime temperatures dip below
  freezing resulting in a potentially dangerous freeze-thaw cycle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow and Blowing Snow. Additional snow accumulations of
  up to two inches Wind. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph this
  afternoon could result in patchy blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Portions of of interior Alaska including the Fairbanks
  North Star Borough.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Stronger southwesterly winds this afternoon
  may reduce visibility to as low as a half mile at times with
  falling snow. Snow may change to rain later this afternoon as
  temperatures warm to an afternoon high of around 40. Warmer
  temperatures with highs in the 40s are expected Thursday through
  Sunday, but nighttime temperatures dip below freezing resulting
  in a potentially treacherous freeze-thaw cycle.
