...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches
  expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Alaska Range South of Trims Camp.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult with wet snow on warm
  pavement. Expect some of the snow to melt as it makes contact with
  the ground, especially during the afternoons. Any wet spots will
  likely refreeze overnight making for patches of ice. Visibility
  may be reduced below 1 mile at times, especially during periods of
  wind gusts up to 25 mph this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Away from the highway, snowfall totals in the
  higher terrain may be as high as 18 inches. Most additional
  accumulating snow will occur before sunrise and after sunset
  tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Visit 511.alaska.gov or
call 5 1 1 for the latest road conditions.
