...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS NORTHWESTERN AND
WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

Relative humidity values will drop to around 20 to 30 percent this
afternoon, with highest values near the Red River and lowest near
Lake of the Woods. Winds will be out of the south, gusting to 30
mph across the Red River Valley this afternoon. Given the
extremely dry fuels, near critical fire weather conditions are
expected for the afternoon and early evening hours today. Any fire
that does develop has the potential to quickly spread.
