Additional snowfall moves in tonight, patchy freezing drizzle south
of Pierre cannot be ruled out.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Light snow moves east on Saturday. A Winter Weather Advisory is in
affect for areas south of Highway 212 in east central South Dakota
where accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected.

Accumulating snow is likely to begin late tonight in western
North Dakota.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Accumulating snow is likely on Saturday, with medium to high
chances for at least 1 inch of snow, and low chances for up to 4
inches.
Strong winds are possible on Tuesday.

southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Light snow is ending from west to east this afternoon, with some
slick spots lingering during the evening commute as temperatures
cool down and any melted snow refreezes.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Accumulating snow is likely across southern MN on Saturday, with
the greatest snowfall amounts along I-90. Travel impacts are
likely.
Additional chances for snow or mixed precipitation exist over the
course of the upcoming week and may result in periods of
hazardous travel conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
A wintry mix will continue to transition to light snow throughout the
day. While mostly light accumulations are expected, a few slick spots
will be possible mainly across the highway-14 corridor.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
A quick winter system will bring light to moderate snowfall to the
area on Saturday. Accumulative amounts of 2-5 inches is expected with
isolated higher possible mainly across northwestern IA. Continue to
monitor the forecast especially if you have travel plans.
Details remain uncertain, but additional snow chances continue into
mid next week.
