Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
Counties.
Minnesota River at Granite Falls HWY 212 affecting Renville,
Chippewa and Yellow Medicine Counties.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...
Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Blue Earth, Brown and
Nicollet Counties.
Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.
Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa
and Yellow Medicine Counties.
.Rivers are cresting or falling and with no significant rainfall in
the forecast this is expected to continue.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Storm sewers may need to be plugged to
prevent water from backing up into streets.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 800 PM CDT Friday, the stage was 15.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 800 PM CDT Friday was 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 14.7 feet Friday,
July 18.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

along the river at the foot bridge.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 715 PM CDT Friday was 885.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 884.5 feet
