Above normal heat and humidity continues this afternoon, with heat

exceptions of Corson, Campbell, and McPherson counties.

Despite cooler temperatures Saturday, there will be some elevated
fire weather concerns over north central and central South Dakota
Saturday afternoon. Winds during that period will gust up to 25
miles per hour, which will combine with afternoon humidity of 20 to
30 percent to create those elevated fire weather concerns.

Overnight lows tonight will be in mid to upper 60s, increasing from
north to south. Highs Saturday will range from the upper 80s over
northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota to the mid 90s over
central and north central South Dakota.
