...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A high risk of rip currents along east-
  facing reefs is now in effect through Thursday afternoon, as the
  latest model guidance shows little change in the sea state. Buoy
  data continues to support swells capable of producing surf up
  to 9 feet. Conditions will continue to be monitored over the
  next couple of days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
