A powerful upper level low, tracked northeast of the area into
central Minnesota overnight. Skies cleared on the back side of
this feature and led to cool lows overnight. Readings this morning
were in the lower to middle 30s with the coolest low reported at
Gordon with a temperature of 30 degrees.

Skies will be clear today across western and north central
Nebraska. Highs this afternoon will be in the upper 60s to lower
70s across western and north central Nebraska.

A cold front will approach northwestern Nebraska overnight and may
lead to showers and thunderstorms over the northeastern Panhandle
and northwestern Sandhills. Elsewhere, look for high clouds to
increase overnight in advance of the front. Lows tonight will be
in the mid to upper 40s.
