As mixing resumes with the diurnal cycle, dew points will gradually decrease into the afternoon resulting in relative humidity values in the 17-22 percent range. This combined with increasing west- northwest winds with gusts between 30-40 mph will result in high fire danger across most areas. However, with lush fuels; decided to forgo any fire-related headlines this go around since the fuels will hinder fire spread. Looking ahead, the drier conditions will persist for most of the upcoming week. However, breezier conditions will be a bit more hit or miss. As a result, elevated fire concerns look to be possible every other day through midweek. With this in mind, make sure to limit any activities that could create a spark.
