...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SUNDAY TO 11 PM
PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow above 5000 feet. Snow accumulations 6 to 12
  inches except 12 to 18 inches above 6000 feet. Localized amounts
  up to 2 feet along the highest peaks of the Sierra crest. Ridge
  winds gusting as high as 80 mph.

* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Sunday to 11 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening
  commutes. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees
  and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For areas of Eastern Lassen County, wind
  gusts as high as 70 mph through 8 PM PDT Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations between 1 to 2 feet at the
  Sierra crest with 6 to 12 inches below 7000 feet. Ridge winds
  gusting as high as high as 100 mph. For Lake Tahoe: southwest
  winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Wave heights 2 to 5 feet.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 5 PM Sunday to 11 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening
  commutes. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees
  and power lines.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations 2 to 6 inches below 8000 feet and
  along Highway 395, and between 6 to 12 inches above 8000 feet.
  Locally higher amounts up to 15 inches on the highest peaks. Winds
  gusting as high as 100 mph along the Sierra crest.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening
  commutes. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees
  and power lines.
