...BLIZZARD WARNING IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Jackson County.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Strong
  winds could cause tree damage.

...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 3 and 8 inches, with the highest amounts toward Ida Grove
  to Storm Lake where isolated higher amounts are possible. Winds
  gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa and northeast
  Nebraska.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
  impact power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
  could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could
  significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could
  impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
