...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 11
AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph...causing blowing and
  drifting snow as well as low visibilities.

* WHERE...Western Chippewa and Western Mackinac Counties.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
  The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and
  Thursday morning commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
