Dangerous high surf will continue for Emerald Coast beaches tonight, and beachgoers are strong recommended to stay out of the water. Northwest offshore winds on Monday will prevail, allowing conditions to start improving. However, it will take until at least Tuesday or Wednesday for the rip current risk to drop into the moderate category.
