...Scattered snow showers early this afternoon...

Scattered snow will affect Central MT through the early afternoon
hours. Some of the snow showers will be heavy at times, reducing
visibility to less than a half mile.

Snow accumulations will generally be less than an inch, but it is
possible some heavier snow showers could produce up to 2 inches of
snowfall.

Most of the snow will generally melt on pavement surfaces,
especially at lower elevations, but bridges and mountain passes
could have snow accumulations on the pavement.

Those traveling across Central MT this afternoon should be alert
for quickly changing road conditions and areas of reduced
visibility because of snowfall.
