...BRIEF FUNNEL CLOUDS OR A LANDSPOUT POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHWEST
AND SOUTH-CENTRAL MINNESOTA THIS AFTERNOON...

Showers and weak thunderstorms have developed across the region
and will continue to move southeast through the afternoon hours.
While not likely to occur, atmospheric conditions are favorable
for brief funnel clouds or a landspout with any thunderstorm that
develop. These types of funnel clouds are usually short lived.
However, they can and occasionally do touch the ground and can cause
minor damage. Therefore, if you see a funnel cloud and feel your
safety is threatened, please seek shelter immediately.
