SOUTHEASTERN HINDS AND EASTERN COPIAH COUNTIES THROUGH 100 AM CST...

At 1233 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Raymond to near Oma. Movement was
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Jackson, Byram, Terry, Georgetown, Hopewell, Whites, Rockport, and
  Union around 1240 AM CST.
  Richland, Florence, Shivers, and Harrisville around 1245 AM CST.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CST for central
Mississippi. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 500 AM CST
for south central and central Mississippi.
