...FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

Conditions across southern South Carolina and southeast Georgia
will support increased fire danger this afternoon and early
evening.

Critically dry fuels, along with westerly winds of 10 to 20 mph,
and gusts of at least 25 mph will occur, as relative humidity
values drop as low as 20 to 30 percent. This could result in
dangerous and erratic fire behavior.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do, you are advised to use extreme caution.
