...FIRE DANGER STATEMENT FOR INCREASED FIRE DANGER IN EFFECT
TODAY FROM NOON TODAY THROUGH 8 PM THIS EVENING...

The combination dry air, dry fuels, and increased wind speeds this
afternoon raises concerns for dangerous fire behavior across the
area today. Very dry air remains across the area through this
afternoon, with min RH values forecast to fall around 20 percent.
These conditions will lead to increased fire danger this afternoon
into the early evening hours.

Additionally, the South Carolina Forestry Commission`s Burn Ban
remains in effect for all SC counties until further notice.
