...Strong Westerly Winds This Afternoon into Early Evening...

Strong west-northwest winds are expected to develop across the
area this afternoon and this evening. Sustained winds between 15
to 30 mph, gusting 30 to 45 mph. The strongest winds will be in
open areas of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa. The strong
winds will lead to difficult travel conditions, especially for
high profile vehicles and unsecured objects may blow around.
