A low stratus deck persisted across the eastern half of the state, with light snow ongoing anywhere there was cloud cover. Northwest winds gusting to 35 mph were reported in far northeast Wisconsin. 11 AM temperatures ranged from the upper teens in the far north to the low 30s in central Wisconsin. Temperatures will be cooler today than the past several days, with highs only reaching into the low 30s to low 40s across the area. Light snow will continue to taper off through the early afternoon, leaving clearing skies in its wake through the evening. Next chances for widespread precipitation return Tuesday evening, with a mix of rain and snow likely. Exact snowfall amounts will depend on the track of the system, although confidence is increasing in most of the area receiving at least moderate wintry impacts.
