The National Weather Service office in Shreveport LA will conduct storm surveys today for the areas near the Prospect community north of Jefferson in Marion County County TX, as well as near the Willisville community in Southern Nevada County AR. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area during the early morning hours on Saturday, March 7th. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by this evening.
