Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 100 mph Path Length /statute/: 17.27 miles Path Width /maximum/: 60 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/14/2025 Start Time: 06:43 PM CDT Start Location: 5 N Seymour / Webster County / MO Start Lat/Lon: 37.2217 / -92.7529 End Date: 03/14/2025 End Time: 07:02 PM CDT End Location: 6 ESE Grovespring / Wright County / MO End Lat/Lon: 37.3666 / -92.4984 Survey Summary: NWS storm survey indicates an EF-1 tornado with maximum wind speeds of 100 mph started 5 miles north of Diggins and tracked northeast into western Wright County with a path length of just over 17 miles. The maximum width of the tornado was around 60 yards. Damage included a roof torn off of a home, numerous barns destroyed, a collapsed cell phone tower, and snapped trees laying in a cyclonic pattern. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$
