The National Weather Service office in New Orleans LA will conduct storm surveys starting Sunday March 16, 2025. One team will start near Kentwood, LA and the other will start in Tylertown, MS. Surveys will continue through the week as we continue to survey other areas in Walthall County, MS. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement. Updates will be sent when possible but with two long track, potentially large tornadoes, the track information and rating will take a few days. The storm survey information will also be available on our website at http://www.weather.gov/lix $$
