...Preliminary Storm Surveys Scheduled on Sunday for Issaquena,
Sharkey, Washington, Humphreys, Carroll, Marion, Jefferson Davis,
Covington, and Smith Counties...

The National Weather Service office in Jackson MS plans to
conduct storm surveys Sunday in Issaquena, Sharkey, Washington,
Humphreys, Carroll, Marion, Jefferson Davis, Covington, and Smith
counties in Mississippi. These surveys are in relation to the
severe thunderstorms that moved through the area from the night of
March 14th through the day on March 15th.

Additional surveys will be needed in the following days to
complete assessments of these storms.

Final assessments including results of the survey are expected to
be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement
by Sunday evening.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/jan, and via our social media
channels (@NWSJacksonMS).
