...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled Today Across Southern
Portions of Central Mississippi...

The National Weather Service office in Jackson MS will conduct
storm surveys today across Lincoln, Lawrence, Jefferson Davis,
Covington, and Jones Counties.

A final assessment including results of the surveys should be
completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by
this evening.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/jan, and via our social media
channels (@NWSJacksonMS).
