New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong Arctic high pressure
over northern New England will move N away from the area today
and tonight. Developing low pressure will track NE along the
Mid- Atlantic Coast this afternoon into tonight, then move NE
across the waters Mon before passing E of the region Mon night. A
series of low pressure troughs or secondary cold fronts will
move across the area Tue. A stronger cold front will sweep across
the waters Tue night, followed by additional weak secondary
troughs Wed and Wed night. Strengthening low pressure will pass
SE of the waters Thu, then move E away from the area Thu night as
high pressure builds E towards the waters.
