At 1031 AM EDT/931 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 57 nm east of St. Marks to 30 nm south of V Tower, moving northeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 50 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats and damage vessels.
