...THUNDERSTORM GUST FRONT COULD BRING 30 KNOT WIND GUSTS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...

At 930 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm gust front
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was
located along a line extending from Southport to Town Creek to
Currie, moving east at 30 knots.

The gust front will be near...
  Kure Beach, Sheepshead Rock, and Fort Fisher around 935 PM EDT.
  Buoy Off Carolina Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach Point, and
  Masonboro Island around 940 PM EDT.
  Masonboro Sea Buoy and Wrightsville Beach around 950 PM EDT.
  5 Mile Boxcars, Dredge Wreck, Harris Reef, Johnny Mercer Pier, and
  Liberty Ship around 955 PM EDT.
  Billy Murrell Reef and 10 Mile Boxcars around 1000 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally
higher waves. Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly
