DISCUSSION...
Dry and breezy conditions will be present across the area by
afternoon with minimum relative humidity values in the 15 to 25
percent range and winds gusting to 20 to 30 mph. These conditions
will contribute to elevated fire weather concerns across much of
eastern Oklahoma and all of northwest Arkansas. A warm front will
lift north late this afternoon with an increase in instability
eventually being realized across far northeast Oklahoma into
northwest Arkansas. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are
expected to develop late this evening along and north of the
boundary with large hail to one and a half inches the greatest
threat.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed across far northeast
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
MONDAY...No Hazards.
TUESDAY through Friday...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Isolated showers and storms are possible across west- central
Arkansas into far southeast Oklahoma Sunday as a cold front moves
through the region Sunday. Temperature behind the front will
remain above normal with low afternoon relative humidities and a
continued elevated fire weather threat. The frontal boundary will
stall across Texas then move north near the Red River Tuesday
providing a low chance for storms mainly across far southern
Oklahoma. Later next week, a storm system develops across the
Desert Southwest and moves into the Southern Plains resulting in
more widespread, low to medium rain chances.
