This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty south winds will again be common across much of Arkansas
today, leading to a heightened wildfire threat. A number of
counties are now under burn bans, and more will likely be added in
the coming days. Otherwise, the threat for hazardous weather will
be low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A front will pass through the state on Wednesday...with a few
isolated thunderstorms possible for portions of the area. Windy
conditions will be seen...with sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph
expected. Gusts may exceed 40 mph at times. These winds will relax
by Thursday.

Very dry air will be in place off an on into the weekend...with
limited chances for widespread rainfall. This will keep the wild
fire threat elevated to high at times.

Additional chances for showers and thunderstorms are forecast for
Sunday into Sunday night. An isolated strong to severe thunderstorm
may be possible...but the overall threat for seeing severe weather
looks uncertain at this time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
