North Carolina, western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

Following the end of wintry precipitation early Monday, temperatures
will remain very cold through much of next week. Dangerous wind
chills are expected Monday night through Tuesday morning and Cold
Weather Advisories may be necessary. A reinforcing cold front will
bring the threat of very low wind chills again on Wednesday night
and Thursday night. This prolonged period of cold temperatures will
be especially dangerous due to the possibility of extended power
outages resulting from this weekend`s storm. Roads likely will remain
icy and treacherous through early next week.

Spotters are requested to report snow and ice accumulations to our
office.
